I have a Samsung Plasma 50 inch model Pn50B400PD3XZA that won't turn on. Plug in the power cord, it clicks. Logic Board green light comes on for 3 seconds then goes out. I tested Vs and Va test points and both have little to no voltage. I confirmed 120v coming into the board so I know it's getting power. I tried to jumper the logic board per Tom's thread, no change. When I disconnect the Y-sus board I hear start up music, but no picture. No bulging capacitors on the power supply. Anything else I can try?...Last edited by Eaglefan3429; 08-31-2014, 02:13 PM. -

I've got a real stumper here! Working on this unit for a friend who stated that it wouldn't turn on or do anything. When I got the unit all it did was click when you pressed the power button. I read a thread on here that said it must be the tcon board. I ordered a tcon board and the tv started working. It worked for about 3 days and then stopped again. I ordered an SSB board and power board and replaced both of them. Still didn't work. I put the old tcon board back into the tv and it started working again for about a week. I updated the software and it seemed fine for another week. I went to turn... -

Ok, just a quick update. I changed all of the bad capacitors on the main board. Tv does the same thing. It powers up fine when you press the power button. I am still not getting the Red Led or Green Led lights on the IR Board. The Ir does not work either. I am really lost here. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Leave a comment:

I checked the 24v and 12 volt power coming from the Power Board. That all seems to be good. There supposed to be a 5v standby voltage on Pin 5 of the IR connector and it is not there. I checked the scaler board FB350 where the 5 volts is coming from and it is there. I think I'm getting close but I still feel lost....Leave a comment:

Last week my LCD starting acting funny. It would turn on for about 3 seconds and then turn off. I read the posts on here about bad caps and I ordered the complete set from LCD alternatives.com. I changed all the capacitors on the power board except the biggest one. I put the tv back together and it immediately turned on! Great! So I thought.
