The attachments are the pictures of the mobo. I had considered a possibility of thru hole damage, but did not notice any problems when I removed the old caps. Would removing and replacing the existing caps be worthwhile? The only nones that gave me any problems in the removal were the ones arround the CPU socket

One other note... I went by the markings on the old caps..not the board marking.

Dead MoBo after Recapping
I am a newbie here and have enjoyed reading many of the posts in search of a resolution to my problem. I have yet to find one. I have recapped several boards in the past and brought all but one back to a productive life. The one that is giving me a problem is an Asrock P4V88. I was getting BSODs like crazy. I had tested everything on the board that I could and decided to replace the bulging caps on the board and all others that even appeared to be OK. Now as I try to test the board, it won't power up. I have confirmed that the PSU is in good shape. It is supplying the +5 volt stand by voltage....
