Lg 42pq3000 dead

As above lg 42PQ3000 totally dead , no led lights , I have swapped the power board as I had 1 spare, but the fault is still there

when i power up the set i get 0V on all pins from the from the power supply to the main board (i have checked all fuses on the power supply and checked that 240v in is OK i have unplugged the sustain boards and still get the exact same fault .

any ideas guys

i can do that but which round does it go on the board as it looks like the marks hace gone ... here is a pic...

installing small diodes

I have a power supply repair kit to install today, i can do the IC and the mosfets no problem but im trying to sus out which way round the diodes go in place (1SS355)

these are very small and even under my magnifying glass i cant see any writing on them to show which way round they go..

any help wiht this would be great .

it reads 0v all the time BUT there was a piece of paper selotoped over the ON button when i picked it up...

dont forget the fuse was plown on the power supply when i firts opened this set .

with the main board pluged back in and the jumpers removed , stoll 0 Volts on VS-on

just to clear things up are you saying conect and mesure VS from the end 2 pins like this with PS-ON conected to earth via 1 the screw to the chassi

OK .. im guesing second pin in is Vs-ON ? which is 0 votls ..PS = 3v
