Hello, i need help.
This tv was used in a shop window and was going to be thrown out. I was able to convince the owners into giving it to me if i was able to transport it. The tv weighs 75kgs, it's huge. There are 4 vertical lines usually black in colour that appear only half way down the screen. The tv comes with a control box which i have not opened. I have added a few pics of the tv and control box. Could the problem be with the T-Con board? Is the T-Con board mounted at the top center of this tv under the metal cover shield?

You guys saved my Panasonic TH-42PA60E. I was getting the glittery red screen problem. I took the back cover off. Cleaned out all the dust with a vacume cleaner and a small brush. I then plugged the tv in and carefully fiddled with all the cables and plugs. I kept an eye on the screen with the aid of a mirror. As soon as i pulled on the cable in photo, bam! Fixed! Thanks guys!...
