nice setup, Can anyone recommend a managed switch with gigabit that I can use for imaging laptops? I will probably only use 24 ports max but the switch has to handle multicasting and PXE boot properly, everything else is a bonus.

Laptop LCD inverters, interchangable?
Many inverters have 6 pin plug and will fit in a variety of makes of laptop, but I do not know if the pinouts are the same,
Does anyone know if they are pretty much standard or if they are all wired differently by different manufacturers. -

Sounds like there may be hope for it,
give it a bath in rubbing alcohol and a gentle but thourough scrubbing with a soft brush, make sure to remove everything, plastics, cpu etc. Then leave to dry in airing cupboard or bag of rice.Leave a comment:

Thank you for this thread and the clear pictures! I was able to source a new logic board for my W2234S, that was going all kinds of crazy colours and turning off.
