Symptoms:
Monitor began playing up last night. It switched continuously between DVI and SUB-D video input. Now it will not power on at all. The power LED is not lit.
Have checked the following:
1. Power leads and video cables are snug and properly connected.
2. The power socket that the power cable connects to is working.
3. Tried two different power cords.
It has not been moved and no new cables have been connected between last night and today.
Is it a common problem for a monitor to spontaneously fail like this?
