A service manual that should work for this model is
LG 47LD950C-UA CHASSIS LA92Y

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it for free anywhere. I have checked the recommended sites...

Any other good ones I should check? Google is only getting me manuals for purchase.Re: Lg 47lh55-ua

A se..., I can't seem

Ok, once again... my fault. I was not able to fix my multimeter as I don't have spare leads. I borrowed an analog multimeter and I overestimated my ability to read it correctly. Based on what you told me regarding the max voltage I should be getting I readjusted the values.

For the 12 volt measurement I was not sure which scale to use so I provided both cases it could be. How I miss my digital meter!

I'm also adding the multimeter I'm using so you can see what I'm working with. I was hoping to find a manual online,...

I'll try to do better with the photos, although I only have a 7.1 MPixel camera and it's set to the highest resolution. Hopefully this other photo is a little better for readability.

Just to be clear for the measurements. I'm going to unplug the P201 connector in order to take the measurements. In order to measure pins 7/8 I should measure across them but to measure pin 2 I should use the grounding pins?

On a side note, I keep hearing a click when I turn the tv power on and off coming from the power supply board. It...

The only other thing I can think of doing before I give up is to measure some voltages on the power supply board, P200 looks promising and it even has a table for reference. It can be seen on the pic with all the wires on the right hand side of the photo.

I have not been able to locate a service manual for this model, so I'm flying a bit blind. Can anyone confirm that this is the next logical step? Anything else I should check before connecting it to power?

The only thing I know thus far is that the 3 fuses I found are fine, and that...

Thanks Marty. The connection is nice and snug, but after some testing I found the black lead to be bad. With another lead I now get 0 when I touch them together and it does not jump around at all.

I retested all 3 fuses and the all read 0. What else can I check, regulators or voltages?

Ok, I replaced the battery with a new one and now it is even worse. It jumps around quite a bit. Is this bad leads, or signs that I need a new meter?

You are right! I get 49 Ohms when I press the leads together. Will all readings be off by 49 Ohms or does this mean it is not reliable until I replace batteries?

Very old, and it has been in storage without use for at least 10 years... maybe more.

However, I think I found the culprit. It seems alligator clips are not the best way to take a measurement. When I hold and press it firmly the measurements stabilize much more. I now get 236 Ohms across F101. Definitely greater than 0 at any rate.

Oooops, I see. I thought that was the max it could measure. I changed it to the 2000 range and it jumps around quite a bit. Anywhere from 300 to 700 Ohms on both fuses. I don't quite understand why it would jump around when simply measuring continuity?

I took pics of the t-con board, or inverter... actually, not exactly sure what you call this board. I found 1 fuse, and it measures 46 Ohms....

I have added pics to make it easier to troubleshoot. I have tried to test all the fuses that I could find on the power supply board, I found 2, and the multimeter read between 16 and 46. This should be right on 0, is that correct?...

That is exactly my tv, although a bit less dusty.

I don't have the white line problems though....

@selldoor
I'll have to check on that label tonight. This would be inscribed inside the tv, correct?

@budm
The tv does not respond at all. The only signs of life is a lonely green led inside the tv on the main board, EAX55729301(19).

The symptoms are pretty strange to me. The audio cut out while watching a movie via the hdmi input connected to my laptop. I rebooted laptop to see if that would fix the problem... it did help in the past. After not being able to fix audio via laptop reboot I tried a tv reboot, but it was not responsive...

Lg 47lh55-ua

I'm trying to fix my tv, LG 47lh55-ua, but having a little trouble getting information for this model. I have looked at http://www.tgohome.com/servicemanuals and was unable to find the service manual that goes with this tv.

My questions...

Is there another free site where I can find the service manual for this specific tv?

Will another similar manual that is freely available be comparable enough to be able to use the voltage values as a reference when testing the power supply and main boards?

Thanks for any help...I'm trying
