  • HUAWEI MateBook D 16 (2024) - HVY-WAP9

    Hi,

    I am looking for a BIOS dump for a HUAWEI MateBook D 16 (2024), model HVY-WAP9 (Motherboard: NB2715 MB V9).

    CMIIT ID: 2020AP10553

    S/N: 6NXBB21928800753

The original BIOS chip is completely blank/erased, so I do not have a backup. Could you please provide a working dump, or confirm if a generic BIOS file for this model will work, or if it requires a specific factory-programmed file?

    Thanks for your help....

  • That makes a lot of sense, and it's highly possible that a fuse blew during the hardware troubleshooting.

Do you happen to have the Schematic or Boardview for this motherboard (DAH98DMB8B0 REV B)?

I want to check the screen connector area and locate the backlight fuse to test and replace it.

    Thank you!...

  • Thank you so much! The BIOS worked and the laptop finally turns on now.

However, there is a new issue: I only get a display on an external monitor via HDMI. The laptop's internal screen remains completely black and doesn't light up at all.

Could this display issue be related to the BIOS config (like EDID or display profiles)? Is there any way to fix this in the dump?

    Thanks again for your support!...

  • Thanks for the file.

Unfortunately, it didn't work. After flashing it, the laptop is completely dead now. It doesn't power on at all.

    I really appreciate your help!...

  • Huawei NbDE-WDH9 (Board: DA0H99TB8E0 REV E HF)

    Hello everyone,

I need a working BIOS dump for a Huawei laptop. The device powers on but has no display.

Symptoms: The laptop turns on, and the keyboard is responsive (I can toggle the Caps Lock/backlight lights on and off), but there is absolutely no image on the screen. It looks like a corrupted BIOS issue.

    Device Details:
    • Model: Huawei NbDE-WDH9
    • Board Model: H98D DAH98DMB8B0 REV B HF
    • BIOS Chip: MX25L25673G @ WSON8 (8x6)
    • CMIIT ID: 2020AP10393
    • Serial Number (S/N): NQNPM23404000234

I have already desoldered the chip and backed up the original...

  • Monster Abra A5 V19.3 - Tongfang GM5AGFO MB V1.1 - BIOS Dump Clean ME Request

    Hi everyone,

I need a working BIOS dump for a Monster Abra A5 V19.3 laptop.

    Here are the motherboard details:
    • Model: Tongfang GM5AGFO MB V1.1
    • CPU: Intel 12th Gen (Alder Lake)

The laptop is currently in a boot loop (turns on and off immediately). I have desoldered the SPI Flash IC (GigaDevice GD25R256DYIG) and read the original 32MB dump.

Note: I have already tried testing another BIOS dump found online, but the laptop behaves exactly the same (on/off boot loop) with both the original dump and the other file.

    Could someone please provide...

  • Understood. Thank you for the detailed information regarding the SVOD4 and the NPCX997 chip.

Just as a final alternative to get the machine working temporarily: Is it absolutely impossible to modify the NVRAM or default boot settings inside the main 16MB BIOS dump to force Secure Boot to OFF?

I don't mind if the password stays locked for now, I just need to find a way via the main BIOS dump to bypass the Secure Boot block so I can boot an operating system. Is there any trick to change just that specific setting in the 16MB file?...

  • Hello everyone,

I need a 100% working and tested full BIOS dump (16MB) for an HP Pro Tower 290 G9 Desktop.

Unfortunately, the original XMC BIOS chip was completely burned out/dead, and I am unable to read or get any backup from it. I am using a new MXIC (MX77L12850F@SOP8, capacity: 128Mbits, 16Mbytes) chip as a replacement.

Here are the exact details from the device label and motherboard:

    - Model: HP Pro Tower 290 G9 Desktop PC
    - Motherboard Model: AKALI Rev:A M11
    - Product Number: 6D3A5EA#AB8
    - Serial Number: 4CE243BB9V...

  • Also, to add more context about the current state of the laptop: Secure Boot is turned ON in the BIOS.

Because of this, I am completely locked out of booting into any OS. Even when I take the NVME out, install Windows on it using another computer, and put it back into this ThinkPad, the system blocks it and refuses to boot. Since the Supervisor Password is locked, I cannot turn off Secure Boot or change the boot priority.

My question is: Even if removing the password from the 16MB BIOS dump is impossible for 13th Gen, is there any way to modify this BIOS dump just to...

  • Thank you for the clarification about the 13th Gen limitation. Since patching the 16MB BIOS dump is out of the question, I wanted to ask: Does the RT809H programmer have any capability (or alternative pinout/method) to read or clear this Nuvoton NPCX997KAABX chip directly? Or is it absolutely impossible to handle this specific generation of ThinkShield with the RT809H?"...

  • Unfortunately, I do not have access to an SVOD4 or Vertyanov programmer, and buying one for a single job isn't feasible right now. Since I have a verified, clean 16MB dump of the main BIOS chip ready, is there anyone here who can manually patch or modify this dump to trigger an EC reset on the next boot for this specific LG4 LT5 board? I would really appreciate any help with the BIOS file....

  • Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 - Supervisor Password Request

    Hi everyone,

I am requesting assistance with a Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 laptop that has a BIOS Password.

I checked the motherboard, and the onboard EC chip is a Nuvoton NPCX997KAABX (ThinkShield). I do have an RT809H programmer with the specialized Keyboard Test Board interface ready for ISP flashing, but this specific new-generation Nuvoton chip is currently not supported for direct EC reading/writing in the software list.

Consequently, I have desoldered the main BIOS chip (MX25L12872FM2I-10G) and taken a verified, clean 16MB dump using a socket adapter...
