Re: Are these caps bad
So i only have to replace then OST electrolytics, the polys around the cpu should be ok? And should i replace all of the 4v ones with the one kc8adu suggested? Which would be those at the NB and the ones up at the memory slots.

Re: Are these caps bad
Thanks for the help guys. kc8adc i have memtested the sticks one at a time earlier, none of them showed any errors.
From what i could read without taking my caps out they are, OST RLA, 680uF 4v..
The place i would buy from don't have Nichicon NH, http://tinyurl.com/a2mns2k (ELFA Distrelec) But they did have these Rubycon ZL in 16v https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/55c5a159697fc5aca4d7e3d3dded1822.pdf Would they work? If you want you could take a look in their shop and suggest other caps too.Re: Are these caps bad...

Re: Are these caps bad
I had the problem for a long time but it worked fine with one 2gb stick. So i never bother to fix it. But today i did a clean install of a 64bit OS so i tought it was time to add some more memory, but it didnt work this time either so i can rule out software problems.
The sticks is bought as a kit (2+2gb) so i guess they should be matched. Both sticks works without any problems when i run memtest, but if i have 2sticks memtest freezes after a while.
What does "OST" stand for?
The caps i posted earlier...

Are these caps bad
Hi i have some problem with my computer. When i use two or more memory sticks the computer crasches with a bsod, if i go back to using a single stick it works like a charm. I tought it might be some bad caps, but im not sure if those are bad or not....
