Hi all!
I have an ESR EVB v1.1 since more than 10 years, always worked fine.
Now it is not working properly.
With a new 9V battery, I do the reset procedure and displays shows the normal reading "00". Than when measuring capacitors, it shows values as "40", "33", "25", randomly.
Have you any idea?!

This happen because you are measuring it the wrong way. To check the 400V you should use the primary ground, the hot side, be careful, the hot side is not isolated.

Here are the picture of the IC1107 & IC1106 1117 07135L.
May anyone identify the manufacturer logo?!
This two regulators ICs seemed to be heated, the metal base are a bit blue. -

Sorry guys! I didn't see it properly. And yes this board also has the IC1107 & IC1106 but at the other side of the board. They have the same ref but a bit different termination.
So, signup wrote that his ICs are 1117 07152L and mine are 1117 07135L.
Now the problem is to find them to buy :-)
Let's see what I can find!

This is the Samsung I am talking about:
LE40M87BDX/XEC
Yesterday it was more than 5 hours running well (no back cover). Well, even with cover, here it never showed the problem. I saw the problem at the client's home.
Hope Signup can tell me where IC positions IC1107 & IC1106 are.

Signup, I can't find those IC's.
Where are them located in the board?
I only see two SMD IC's IC1109 and IC1109 both 17-33 06524L, that seemed to be the same regualtors of 3,3V.Leave a comment:
