TV is about 6 years old. When Wii console is connected (white background) cause purple/pink patches/ vertical lines and vertical hold seems to jump and picture is split top and bottom across teh middle of the screen.

On satellite tv (via HDMI) picture is okay apart from on some white parts of the picture you get a bright purple pixellation.

This only happens occassionally.

Is this a main baord or a Tcon board issue that could be fixed by replacing the relevant board or is it more serious problem?
