I agree with Ubuntu/Mint/Debian, Ubuntu has the most support of the three, but 99% of the time, answers you find on Ubuntu support or forums will apply to the same issue if using Debian or Mint -
ASUS Prime Z790-P (NON-WIFI) Bios dump and questions
Hi, Thanks for all you do here.
I have attached my 16MB dump.
EDIT2: All hardware working fine, I think I just need to update my linux booatloader and all gucci
EDIT:
I can get into bios now! I reflashed as instructed elsewhere. With a minimal POST (just 1 stick of ram , GPU, CPU, no drives) I have loaded into BIOS. I am about to reinstall my other hardware components now.
The clips are such a pain to use, soldering would be a great skill to have.
Thanks for the advice in other threads!
To answer my own question, I didn't... -
Hello there,
I'm Kino, I was setting up secure boot and bricked my firmware and I found this place so I could learn to turn a .cap from my mobo manufacturer into something I can flash onto my bios chip(or bios chips,as I have now learned the 2nd one is NOT unimportant)
Rather than screw around with custom keys I will just use shimlock going forward haha, I have always needed to learn the hard wayLeave a comment:
