Probably will work, I'm hoping not to open the rugged tablet since they are a PIA.
I was able to back up the BIOS region of the chip with the Intel ME tools. I hope to unlock the BIOS via GRUB "setup_var."
Getac uses the Insyde BIOS engine. I am not able to find the proper value for the BIOS lock.
I believe that this script will delete the PW once the BIOS is unlocked...

I tried on Getac, and it's a no-go.
It appears that the BIOS is locked.
The error that I get is:
Failed to delete variable

Hello fellow members,
I corrupted my BIOS and was able to recover with an image that I found on this great forum.
I have tried to edit the serial number with no luck.
