Another quick update: After using it again for over a day I can say that the picture quality is better; less noise by a lot (had loads of pixels bouncing around everywhere before, had to look carefully to see them though, but now no longer). Also the only downside so far seems to be a delay in channel audio, when changing channels it now takes 5 secs for the audio to kick in, minor con for such a big gain.
Edit: Nevermind, fixed the sound, went into the service menu and enabled some features, all good now.

Guess my optimism paid off, it works!!!
That part from flattvparts arrived really quick, popped it in and it works like a charm, what's even better my TV now has HD channels, which it didn't have any before.
Would like to say a massive thank you to Tom66 and Vinceroger69 for both your help and advice I am immensely grateful.
I wish you both all the best and I will recommend this site and your help for anyone in the future and I'll of course come here first myself, so happy....

Thanks for clearing that up. Like I mentioned in my first post, I'm completely new when it comes to TV repair, so apologies for being a bit slow with these things.
At any rate I'm still optimistic about the part I ordered, even if it doesn't work the kind people at flattvparts will allow me to return it, in which case I'll just order the part from Samsung. Should find out in a couple of days and will update straight away, I presume I connect it up and if it works, great, if not return it? Can't see there being anything left...Leave a comment:

Just looked at the broken part in my TV and I found a sticker on the actual board covering the code. The original code "BN94-03359A" was on the top of one of the input ports, the new code on the actual board itself says "[B]BN41-01448A[/B]". Which as it turns out is the same as the part I just ordered from flattvparts: Samsung PS50C6500TK - Main AV - [B]BN41-01448A[/B] - BN94-03359C.
Since the codes for the main board are identical I'm guessing it has a better chance to be the right part. As the other code was just...Leave a comment:

Ok rang them up and the guy said that there is no guarantee it would work but he would be happy for me to try it and return so long its sent back within 7 days. I presume 7 days will sufficient enough for it to arrive, test it and return if needed the same day.Leave a comment:

Quick update: none of the Ebay sellers are willing for me to try the board which is understandable. So I contacted Samsung which forwarded me to an official repair shop in Manchester. Rang them up and they can order the part and quoted me £150, which seems a bit steep but it should be the exact part I need.
Other than that, the other online shops havn't even gotten back to me as of yet, so dunno if I should risk getting the K variant from Ebay or just get the one from Samsung?Leave a comment:

Still no reply from any of the sites yet, however the seller from Ebay said it might not work but going to see if they are willing for me to try it. Upon further inspection of the image for the listing, the silver box where the aerial input is, is larger on the Ebay board. Think this could be a problem? Otherwise apart form the colour difference the boards are identical.Leave a comment:

I looked all over the board and found one mention of it, here is what it said: "BN94-03359A PBA LINE 20100529".

Cool, think they will be OK? Comparing the images from the one I uploaded and the one on that site it looks identical in regards to the main PCB. I couldn't get to it at all so had to remove the stand, but its OK the couch assisted me with this, its funny because it only just fits on.

Apologies but I can't find a small green board, theres 2 long thin green boards along the left and bottom of the TV's edges. I've added a better overall picture of teh TV, if you can point it out I'll take the picture please.
I think it may be under the metal plate beneath the upper white board, not sure can't see, let me know what you think and I'll take it apart more if needed....Leave a comment:

TV finally got dropped not long ago so took some pictures, the images are all OK but I can get a different camera and take more tomorrow see if they are any better. Should be fine they're all in focus, just let me know please and thanks again appreciate the support....Leave a comment:

@tom666 Yes of course, I took this quickly on a camera phone as it was what I was using at the time, I have a much better camera available. Just noticed you go to Leeds, that's quite close, small world :P
@gilly1984 I intended to check it the moment they leave, or whilst there if possible depends how fast they want to leave, figured with them being a rather local company that they'd be genuine but we'll see. From Manchester, everyone on here so far seems local.

Yea I didn't think it could be the screen as they suggested, since it flickered and I read on another topic here that it was a good sign. Prior to it failing it was working flawlessly, no lines or anything.
@vinceroger69 I hadn't even considered that, didn't think people could be so malicious, after all I paid them £30 to check it with no further commitment.
I had the TV open myself before I sent it so I'll know if anything is out of place or missing (added image to the attachments), they seemed like nice people...Leave a comment:
