Ii used a feeler gauge between the pins. The total length of the pins is 29mm/30 pins = .97

Did you apply the tape to the cable or connector side?
No I haven't cleaned the connections yet. I will ensure that I do before re-assembly.

No I don't think the retaining clip is broken. It just doesn't seem to make proper contact and lock in place. Originally there was tape holding down the cable and retainer....Leave a comment:

Samsung LN22A450 LVDS Connector
I looking for a solution to fix my Samsung LCD (LN22A450) that has a bad/loose LVDS connection on the mainboard. If I put outward (away from the mainboard) pressure on the cable the display work otherwise I just get a white screen. Is there someway to fix this. Thanks in advance.
