Hi, I am looking for the correct pinout for a standard V35 (connector) interface cable to a V11 (x21) connector. Several conductors came off on the V11 side whilst in action.
Thanks

Re: Tektronics 2230
Thanks modemhead for the reply. Well I didn't realize there was a carry bag which contained the leads and power cord and even the manuals.
Just returned from powering it up and it was a go.
Thanks

Tektronics 2230
Hi ALL
Found an ancient Tektronics 2230 oscilloscope in our equipment room. Need a manual, a schematic or any general info on this.
I'm a telecommunication tech and an pretty much a novice in component level repairs. It's mostly the cards/boards that we replace for fault solutions on our equipment.
I found this site whilst trying to repair my damaged laptop and so I figured and oscilloscope would come in handy. I have not tried powering it up yet cause its missing it's leads and also I want to gather some info on it first.

Re: Power Problem Toshiba C650
Thanks G,
What you posted is helping. I am in the telecommunication industry and I guess my flame for electronics rekindled ever since my laptop turned south and I found this site.My motherboard revision is A03 and PAD 3000 and PAD 3001 is not on the one you sent but I guess the schematic is pretty much the same.
Anybody with with a schematic for A03?

Re: Power Problem Toshiba C650
I tried just 1 RAM but did not improve.
My problem have took a turn for the worse, since the last time I posted; the laptop is now seemingly dead.
No LED indications with AC or battery altogether. It could be just easy to say the batts gone but I guess I really do need that schematic to see what I shorted first. PAD 3000 and PAD 3001??

Re: Power Problem Toshiba C650
The machine had a power-up password so gathered info suggested that it is the BIOS memory that holds this password.
The usual F1, F2,ESCAPE functions and even complete removal of the CMOS battery failed so sought advice of shorting certain pads in the memory bay whilst powering-up seem like a technically good idea.
True enough I found PAD 3000 and PAD 3001 under the RAM and proceeded to shorting them while powering up.
And that was when I had my power problem.
AM not too sure...

Power Problem Toshiba C650
Hi ALL, I stumbled onto this whilst on a solution seeking mission for my troubled second hand bought Toshiba satellite C650 laptop.I am saved, I hope.
It originally had a bios password which I wanted to by pass and I messed up big time by shorting pads in the memory bay (stupidly of cause) as suggested by a couple of FAQs I read on other sites.
The LED for AC and Battery shows, however on power up, the green LED blinks lazily at first and blanks out completely and the processor fan starts but ceases in tune with the green LED.
I left it as that...
