Today I was able to solder the diode. Power button do nothing, but restoring firmware kicks 20V up and then drops back to 5V. It seems that now resotre fails to "Unable to place device into recovery mode from DFU mode".

Today I tried to solder a missing 0201-sized D5270 Zener diode (Zener X3-DFN06) onto the PCB, but the hot-air nozzle on my rework station is too large to melt the Sn63Pb37 solder without causing collateral damage (although I did protect the surrounding components with Kapton tape).
Attached are two graphs from a USB power meter (I wrote a Python script that reads data from the USB meter via Bluetooth and saves it as a graph). In the first one, the meter is on the power supply side, and as can be seen, when the USB connector is plugged in, the current consumption briefly increases...Leave a comment:

I lack a USB-C power meter at the moment, so I'll have to get one. My power adapter is a 65W PD supply (20V/3.25A). I’ve already ruled out the power supply by trying several others....Leave a comment:

Thank you for prompt answer. Here are measurements:
PP0V88_AWAKE_NAND: 216.0 (FLN001)
PP1V25_AWAKE_NAND: 215.5 (CN03A)
PP2V5_AWAKE_NAND: 588 kOhm (RN522, varies)
I found just now that diode D5270 seems to be missing, but that seems to be related to SAVE_BAT_G ....

MacBook Air M1 (A2337 / 820-02016) dead - no power, DFU restore fails after iBSS send, good voltages - NAND dead?
Hi everyone, first post here – long-time reader though. I have a dead MacBook Air M1 (2020) that won't charge or power on.
Device info:
MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
Model j313ap (A2337, logic board 820-02016)
Symptom:
No charging, no power on at all.
Restore attempts:
Apple Configurator finds the MacBook in DFU mode, as Linux with lsusb: Bus 001 Device 021: ID 05ac:1227 Apple, Inc. Mobile Device (DFU Mode).
It looks like the MacBookAir is in firmware boot loop. I have tried to restore 14.x version and 26.2 (latest) version firmware,...
