OK that's convinced me, it's going back in! Why has it's dress come down? Never seen that before!

Can I use this cap as a replacement?
Hello all
I am repairing a 42" Philips Plasma T.V and found a cap that looks like it has overheated and is losing its frock!
I have tested it (not precisely) and it appears OK but I'd like to change it anyway.
The original black 1000uf / 35v / 85c is the bottom one in the picture and I want to replace it with the blue one 1000u-m / 35v / 105c.
I don't know why they are different colours or if it matters and I don't know why the blue one says u-m and not uf. On my meter they both show about 1000uf so I'm confused!

Difference between 200WV & 200v rated cap
Hi, I need to replace 2 caps in a 750Watt PSU.
The knackard caps are 1000uf 200wv 105c. All I have close are 1000uf 200v 85c.
First I can't find out what the difference between 200wv and 200v is?
Second my replacement caps are thinner than the originals.
Can someone please advise?
Regards
Phill.

Re: Cap Advice Please
Thanks momaka. I always been an impatient lad!
The originals were 420v and replaced with 400v. Still working but I heed your point.
Phill.

Cap Advice Please
I have a bad cap in a PSU and want to know if I can swap it with a slightly lower voltage one. I know this is not recommended generally but do you think it would work or be worth the risk trying?
Thanks in advance.
OLD: 420v / 120uf / 105c - REPLACE WITH: 400V / 120uf / 105c
