yes tom it was it was almost completely removed... this happened quite clearly because the cable is too short. when picking up the tv byu the handlebars the chassis bend by its weight exactly at the point where this cable would come loose...
i have made more cable room by re-arangement.
havent had the time to thank you yet... i started a small household fire in the kitchen while screwing +/- 70 screws in place....

there is also another board underneath some metal bar for the speaker part.
the left and right portions with the ribbon cables are humming when the tv is turned on, since this is an old model ive considered this normal. speaker humm aswell depending on input......

this corresponds with the correct AM times from previous posts.
hopefully weekend will not alter this. i assume this is not a education oriented website.

i have not said i had reseated all connectors, i pushed in the click ones, and checked the ribboncables gently if they were aligned. a few click ones were loose'ish but affixing them made no difference.

edit: also the tv is laying in parts on my coffee table (and scattered throught he troom) and i have relatives coming over tomorrow morning, including my mother... you have no idea of how much value your timing is. ...

hey peeps
my hisense 43 inch plasma was moved and now it sport a nice fully red screen.
i have opnened it up and checked all connectors and even ribbon cables and nothing appears to be loose. i also checked all capacitors if any were "popped" but allas nothing was this simple.
ive read up on th e problem and it seems i could have the following complications:
eeprom error, reset nescesarry (WHICH WOULD SUCK BECAUSE I DONT HAVE REMOTE FOR FACTORY MENU)
Voltage adjustment (i have found 5 locations which can be set, have...
