My name is Mandie. I am a stay at home mom to twin toddlers 2 cats and a German Shepherd. I like to go target shooting and the race track in my free time. Wait a minute- did I say free time? I don't have any. I am into electronics but still learning about how to troubleshoot/repair them. It's great that there are people out there, willing to help others.

I have a Samsung 42" Plasma that I bought 3 or 4 years ago. It started its problems by clicking several times before powering on. Then it advanced to clicking cycles for 15-20 minutes. I pulled off the back and looked at everything. The caps were in good shape. I had a tech come out and instead of troubleshooting he just replaced the x and y mains. The tv coincidentally worked fine that day. That evening it started clicking again. Then they took it back to their shop and said it could be the panel or some other power supply. They brought it back saying they don't know what its for sure so...
