Tested with external monitor and got a no sync error message, tried again holding FN and F5 keys still no sync message. I know the external monitor works since I just used it with another laptop.

Update: Works on external monitor so but not on laptop still, so wtf? The laptop worked just a few hours ago, about to lose my mind...lol

Ok hopefully someone here can help quickly! I got a Toshiba A105 from my mom's friend who wanted me to check if it had a wireless card and then figure out why she had no internet, simple enough so I said sure. Anyway, turned the laptop on with any issues, no wireless detected so turned off and removed keyboard to look for the card. Long story short went to turn laptop back on and got power but a completely black screen. Tried unplugging and holding power button, tried re-seating memory but nothing. Kind of freaking out as this is supposed to be fixed by tomorrow. Any help is appreciated, than...

Hey everyone, found this forum by accident while trying to find answers to a laptop problem, excited to join and see what I can learn. I taught myself over the last year to take apart laptops and fix them, become sort of an addiction..lol.. I buy them off craigslist and sell on e-bay, pain in the ass sometimes but it allows me to work from home. Sorry for rambling..lol.. Happy holidays everyone!
