  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello everyone,
Can anyone answer this question. I need to replace a diode on a power circuit board on a 42mf521d/37 television. It is at location 6056 on the board. The diode reads "Lt6233" and "uf007" on it. I cannot find a replacment and need help! Any websites that offer this or anyone who has had to replace this diode before? Thanks, i'll get to my official intro when i'm not at break at work!
    Thanks,
    Chris

Wow thank you all so much for the quick response. Yes thank you, all this info helps. However i am embarrassed to say as a rookie i don't know how to read those data sheets to determine what i need. All i know was the only other marking on the diode was 0545A...

And when i get a chance to post more later today or tomorrow i will with some pics hopefully. Don't have internet at home right now which makes everything that much harder...

  • Re: Philips 37PFL5322D/37 Chirping from psu

Wow this board has been a lot of help. I also have the chirping issue and started a new post yesterday on this site in regards to it. So far i also replaced the 4 capacitors along with a ceramic capacitor located in the same area as the bad zener diodes by the transformer. I too had my board plugged in to show someone the noise when i noticed a puff of smoke from the ceramic capacitor.
After doing diode tests i could not get a reading at location 6062. I have removed the diode and now I can't figure out how to match the diode to...

  • 42mf521d/37 diode replacement

    Hello,
I am new to this site and fairly new to electronics in general. I was wondering if anyone on this site can answer this question.
On a power circuit board for a 42mf521d/37, at location #6062, to replace this diode, which do I buy? It has markings on it that read "RGP10D" and underneath that it says "0545D". Can't find a schematic anywhere of this board although I have to dig a little deeper into this Forum site now that I'm a member.
To fill you in on where I am at, hopefully not potentially making things worse. I bought a broken television that...
