In response to POST #2, there is no point in adjusting the brightness levels and there is no point in reloading the factory settings either.
I don't have any specific tool to test the panel because, as already explained, I don't do TV repairs for a living.
How can I ‘check' the functionality of the panel or emmc failures?...

It does not go in STBY "constantly" but "sporadically".
Difficult to supply 12V directly to the mobo, but I can try....

I did not found any broker CAP in the power supply stage, nor burnt or open component:

In the CPU SMD board I did not found signs of hot parts:

Is there any place where I can find the circuit diagram of such TV ?

Thank you Diah for your reply!
Yes, this is disabled. As wrote, the issue appeared suddenly during a video conference. Never happened before and nobody changed TV settings.
Ok, I will try this.
I guess I have to open it, even if I have no schematic diagrams......

Hisense H60N5705 automatically switches off
Hisense H60N5705 installed in a conference room, turns off automatically a few minutes after being switched on.
Problem occurred suddenly, during a video conference. Switched on again by the remote control, it continued to work for a while and then switched off again.
Power cable and HDMI cable checked.
No changes by connecting the TV to another source but, even if it is left on the OSD menu, it stays on for a few minutes and then switches off.
So they took the TV (a 60' which is not easy to handle) to the lab and asked me to check it....

Re: ASUS VH222H 21" : no power when LCD plugged
Thank you selldoor, any suggestion is welcome!
Only it is a bit difficult to find pins to check with the multimeter.

Re: ASUS VH222H 21" : no power when LCD plugged
Here are a few pages with schematic diagrams of a similar power board
@selldoor
I really do not see how I can lead to short circuit in the LVDS cable or bent pins ... it is really crowded... How may have been broken by itself?
It presented this defect suddenly and had never been opened before....Last edited by _max_; 11-25-2014, 09:29 AM.

Re: ASUS VH222H 21" : no power when LCD plugged
Here there are my last pictures of the boards: Main Board and Power Board.
It looks like there are no bad caps or other broken components.
What is strange is that only when the LVDS cable is plugged, the monitor does not switch on....

I just connected all the connectors for LCD lamps , mainboard, power board but leaving the LVDS cable unplugged.
No external surces connected....

ASUS VH222H 21" : no power when LCD plugged
Dear friends,
my ASUS VH222H 21 inch monitor suddenly is no longer running, the power button does not have effect and the blu pwr led remains off.
I completely disassembled the monitor to do a visual inspection.
Unfortunately, even using a magnifying glass, I have not been able to identify any damaged capacitor, no component visibly burned or damaged runways.
I did a test just by connecting the high voltage to the LCD panel, leaving disconnect the LVDS cable, and surprisingly the monitor turns on and the display lights up. Of course, no image...

Re: Wiper motor 12Vcc - how to reduce speed
Actually 5A is the maximum current expected, in standard conditions at maximum speed the amperometer reads 1.7A
I see. The only doubt remains about the torque, if it drops to zero at very low speed......

Re: Wiper motor 12Vcc - how to reduce speed
5A is the max current driven into the motor. I guess a MOSFET 80V 25/30A @ 25°C should do the job.
Does the diode in parallel to the motor need to be special Shottky ?

What about the following solution?...
