Hi all.
I have a Star Sound 2000w car amp. It started with cracking in the speakers. I opened it up and found the pot marked "level" to be the culprit. I bought a new one but now the sound, on both channels, to be very distorted. There was an ic KIA393 with no output so I replaced it but the problem still the same. I dont find any fault on the mosfets or faulty caps. Any help here please.
Regards

Where to buy
Hi all. I'm new to the site and have a funny feeling i'm posting in the wrong section and if so, sorry.
I have a Chimei 17" monitor that has stopped working. Its a model CMV 938D. I'm not new to repairing electronics but I need to find where I can buy the two inverter ic's. They are:
1. P605 over BD61LS and:
2. P605 over BZ6K22.
All the other parts I have replaced including the blown fuse on the 13.8v circuit, now I need these ic's.
Any help here please.

LG L192WS no display
Hi all. I was thinking if anyone has any know-how, just how to test the inverter ic on the inverter board of this monitor. It is an OZ9938GN 16 DIP ic. It is used in this circuit to switch to two mosfet 8pin DIP ic's driving the CCFL's. The monitor was dead and the 5v circuit was down. I replaced ALL the electrolytes and managed to get the monitor on but only for about 5 seconds then some protection switches it off. The two driver ic's are fine, the CCFL's are fine, tested them with a TL1040 CCFL tester. Is there a way to put the inverter ic in some test mode? I really suspect this ic as faulty...
