Re: Another classic combo revived! Abit BP6
Hi Topcat - I'm interested to know what values you used for the last two repairs. I never got around to recapping my BP6, but looking to do it soon, and I like the idea of the shorter caps around the CPU

Re: Intel D975XBX Cap Mod Questions
Massive thread necro here!
I'm still using my old Intel D975XBX 3.04 board - no issues with caps so I see no need to replace them. I wonder if the OP ever did it?

ABIT BP6 - confirmation on which caps to order
Hi All,
I'm looking to do a retro PC build, using an ABIT BP6 which I recently had shipped from the UK to Australia for $55AUD with 2x Celeron 433's included.(I really wanted one)
Even though the mainboard is fully functional and seems stable at the moment (surprisingly), I've decided to re-cap it anyway so I would like to confirm which caps I should buy.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi All,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a long time Abit mainboard fan, but haven't owned one for a long time, until now as I start building a couple of retro machines!
Previously I have owned BH6, BP6, NF7, NF7-s, KT7A, IC7-Max, AB9, AB9 Pro.
I'm currently building 2 systems based on a BH6 and a BP6. Obviously both will need recapping, so I'd be most appreciative of assistance when the time comes to do it. I'll probably post a worklog on each as I go.
Cheers,...
