    Hi there,

    Thank you for the reply. To be honest, I don’t have a hardware programmer (like a CH341A) to dump the chip physically right now.

    Since I'm on an EliteBook 830 G6 and I have the halt code qeh11u1kst, do you know if there is any other software-based way to get you the file you need? Or is a hardware programmer the only option for this model?

      Hi everyone,

      I’m a student currently locked out of the BIOS on my HP EliteBook 830 G6. I bought the laptop second-hand, and the previous owner didn't provide the password. I really need access to the BIOS to change storage settings and boot orders for my studies.

      System Details:
      • Model: HP EliteBook 830 G6
      • Processor: Intel Core i5 (8th Gen)
      • Serial Number: 5CG0080LKD
      • Halt Code (from 3rd fail): qeh11u1kst

      I'm hoping someone here can help me generate an SMC.bin file or provide a master password that works for this generation. Any guidance on how to get back...
