I just wanted to thank you for your post, Freezer. Using it as a guide, I was able to refurb a 2208WFPt that a customer had dropped off for us to take to recycling. In my case, all five of the CapXon 330μF 35v caps were bad, bulging and leaking electrolyte. I replaced them with Panasonic FM caps, which only cost me $7 incl. shipping for a pack of 20 on eBay, and it now works perfectly. Now we have a much nicer monitor at our main diagnostic workstation.
