Is this thread dead? I have the same TV and I have tested two bad diodes so far. Maybe someone can chime in?

Hi there, I'm new this forum so hello everyone. I just bought a Sony KDL-40EX500 for a dirt cheap price and I have been trying and trying to figure out what is wrong with it. The whites on the panel are a fuchsia color but if I turn down the "Picture" setting I notice it goes away but then the colors start to bleed into each other. I have checked most of the voltages throughout the board and found nothing out of the ordinary. If someone could give me a little guidance, I would be grateful!... -
