Hey Everyone. I just wanted to share this bit of information I accidently learned with an LG 37 Inch tv but have a question as well. Im sure you all know this, but this might help a newbie with the same problem. I picked up this tv for free because the last owner got rid of it because the screen was black. Took it home, powered it on and off several times then opened it up. I found the power supply has some bulged caps so I took the board off. I know I am late in the thread But I am having the exact same problem with my tv as well. It is the same model number the dp42848, So I am trying to keep up with the updates. I opened the back case and found all my boards to be brand new looking like they should be. I will keep following along and hopefully we can all solve this together. Thanks
