Re: LG 50PG3000-ZA help needed please.
I reckon I'm satisfied enough to buy a new controller board - worst case scenario it's not what's broken and have to resell itWill post an update when it arrives.
Thanks so much for the helpLast edited by Olliez0r; 11-27-2012, 06:54 PM.

Re: LG 50PG3000-ZA help needed please.
Getting a reading off all three regs on the controller board - so it's getting power, think this is a sign that it is the controller that's borked as the LEDs aren't illuminating?

Hmmm! Well, I've checked the fuses with a multimeter and they're all fine, how's best to test the voltage on the other boards... I assume they should be getting power just like the AV board even if the controller board was dead....

Awesome thanks.. nothing lighting up on that board, does anyone have an idea/opinion on if... the lack of LEDs indicates this board is dead OR if it indicates a related board is dead?

Re: LG 50PG3000-ZA help needed please.
Hi all, hope I'm not quite hijacking the thread, thought it was relevant enough to not have to start another...
Same TV (50PG3000)... can get sound but no picture at all..
tried disconnecting alternating buffer boards and I still get absolutely nothing.
People have mentioned an LED on a controller board as well as the power LED on the front... I don't see any lit LED on any of the boards inside the telly, can someone advise me as to where this LED should be and, if not lit, would it indicate that...
