FYI, I ordered a new SC board from shopjimmy [url]http://www.shopjimmy.com/panasonic-txnsc1mmuu-sc-board.htm[/url], replaced the board and everything is working perfectly. The board is version AP, so I can confirm these are compatible with the 50G20.

Quick question, I'm experiencing the same problems as the OP (2 year old 50G20). What board part number are you guys purchasing? The service manual shows TNPA5081, and the sticker on my SC board shows TNPA5081AF. I cannot find a board with the last two characters AF anywhere on the web. Would a TNPA5081AW board be similar enough?
