Hi again,
I ve got a motherboard. That is strange.
It doesn't boot to bios. It powers the cd drive and Hard drive (hear them spinning up). No display on external monitor . Ac adapter powering fine. No led lights indicating / flashing. And fan don't spin. I smelled that burning odour when i lifted the keyboard. 3.3v seem to circulate fine around the motherboard. Also it powers up straight away once power is connected.

Found the Problem its was 15uh/3A Inductor. Got lucky i touched off it and the cd drive mechanism powered up suddenly . phewwww.

Hi,
I've stuck on this problem for awhile now, there is a Bricked CD/DVD drive Little of no voltage through USB port. Its seems that the regulated 5v supply is not flowing through the circuits . I noticed when i bought the radio the fool soldered 2 pins on connector 4 (CN4). One SS24 Diode (D3) was missing on Mainboard
Well its not bricked, really its just the voltage is little or none coming through the connector connecting to the Drive. i need a bit of help with this.

Samsung Rv510 no boot black screen.
Hello,
I've got a this Samsung Rv510,
I press the power button it comes on but no display on LCD or external monitor
If it charges and power cycles normally. But Just black screen.
No hard drive movement once started.
I m wonderings is it a bad bios flash.
I reflowed the GPU Intel gm 4500 and still the same. -

I got a refurb board, and its intel based again, no nvidis gpu. But the screen is blank not dead just blank , graphics is none existent . Is this solution a reball/ reflow . Backlight is ok, the LCD cable is okay, and LCD is working on another laptop and it works fine on a external screen. What you guys think, Southbridge reflow?Leave a comment:

I checked the pins on the USB connectors with the meter , No shorting on the 2 connectors. but C443 came back with a high resistance of 10.67 mega Ohms and still rising slowly

PIN 7 OUT = 0.607ohms
PIN 6 OUT = can't get a resistance on this pin ? OL
PIN 5 OUT = when i open the gate (i think) i get 3.482 Mega ohms

I replaced the RICHTEK RT8206B GQW QFN 32pin Power IC Chip PU401.
1. I got power.
2. It turned on but the LCD was dim.
3. plugged in the battery , charged but U50 got extremely hot.

Thanks Tuomo , i got it going by replacing It with new one.
but now i got a dark screen , it doesn't power up the back light of the LCD. Tried 2 screens no back light on either.
I wonder is it my LCD cable, here is my LCD /dvi /Lvcds connector pinot with voltages

couldn't find R573 on schematic page.
But r532 was constantly rising in Mega ohms (damaged).
R533 = 26.5K
