I didn't realise ED series were good, but next time i'll keep that in mind.

Recap was successful and the STB is back in action!

Hi All,

I'm recapping a digital set top box power supply and have to replace the following radial electrolytic caps.

1000uF 25V x3
470uF 16V x1
1uF 50V x1
33uF 35V x1
220uF 16V x5
47uF 400V x1

As i'm located in Australia, the only places that source good quality caps are Farnell and RS. I've decided to go with Farnell as they stock the quality caps as listed in the sticky. So far my order is as follows:

1000uF 20V ( Panasonic FC )
470uF 20V ( Panasonic FC )
200uF 16V ( Rubycon ZLH )...
