Had the exact same issue as described with my 55'' Proscan. C857 capacitor from the power board had no sign of defect, but lacking the tools needed to measure ESR, I went ahead and ordered the capacitor from above link. The set powered on without a hitch. I attached a photo of the board after replacing the Cap.
