Thank you! It didn't fix my issue. Now the laptop turns on, and stays on (power light stays lit, RGB keyboard cycles through colors), but still no display. CPU/GPU do not get hot. No fans spin. Thoughts?...

I have soldered wires to the chip. Are you saying that my current connection to the chip is bad? I've been using AsProgrammer and it has been detecting and working with the chip fine, as far as I can tell.

I was unable to get anywhere with BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools because ... one of the steps is to use ME Analyzer to get proper firmware file - ME Analyzer comes up with CSE ME 16.1.32.2418 which is not available in the repository.

I'm trying to flash the bios chip but all the files on the asus website end in a 3 digit bios number. I'm not sure how to convert/trim/extract from these files to a file I can load with AsProgrammer to write to the chip.
