Re: Toshiba 32av502rz
No bad solder, replaced startup cap and the few other caps that were on board, replaced another small diode,No change. Now the tv has started to shut off and turn itself back on. By the way what setting do I need my multimeter on? And is there another diode I can stick in there that would work? I've got all kinds of tvs and parts but I can't find anything that looks the same,

Re: Toshiba 32av502rz
Budm,in one of your posts you say to lift the led of the snubber diode, but then you say not to power on the set without the snubber diode in place, how is that done? I'm having the same problem with the same tv,except mine will stay on if I don't plug in the HDMI or the A-video. Any help on a fix would be appreciated

Re: Toshiba 32AV502R shuts itself off when using HDMI ports
It never shuts off, only if u use HDMI ports and now i just found out it shuts off when hooking it up to A-video also. S video shuts it off right away,HDMI after a few minutes. With S video I just get a green blinking light on the front that is constant.

Toshiba 32AV502R shuts itself off when using HDMI ports
I've looked all over and can't find a definite fix,the TV works perfect with otherwise, just not with HDMI hooked up to it,can anyone tell me why this is? There are No bad caps,I did replace the start-up cap with No change. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks

Re: LG 42PC5D request for knowlege
So are the Hybrids the same as far as which sides they're on (looking at the back of the tv),like can I take one from the left side and put it on the right side?

Re: Source for IC 0Z9938GN - Toshiba 22CV100U
Ok so I replaced that IC and now if I shine a light on it I can see what's on the screen,so im guessing its a backlight issue, what do I need to replace now to solve the backlight problem? Thanks

Re: Source for IC 0Z9938GN - Toshiba 22CV100U
And the other two parts he replaced,a Fet and the PWM,what are those? What do they look like? I'm pretty new to fixing Tvs,so far I've had good luck and fixed a few,I just don't know the names of everything yet. Thanks for the help and info

I have a few other tvs,is there another part that can be used there? Or does it have to be the OZ9938GN ?

Re: LG 42PC5D request for knowlege
The pins are all the same,so is the writing on the back of the board labeling all the pins.

I have the same tv with what sounds like the same problem, green light flashes 5 times, but the screen won't turn on. I have a few other LGs are the Hybrids interchangeable? What other problems could I have? No blown fuses by the way.
