Just realised that I took backup of the wrong flash chip, the real BIOS chip was right next to the PCH, but I didn't see that. The backup I shared before is of a winbond flash chip on the other side. The real BIOS is on a gigadevice chip. As soon as I saw a winbond chip I assumed that it was the bios chip. Sorry.

Hi,
my dell precision 5530 is not booting anymore, no display, nothing. Initially there was a 2-1 cpu fail error indication, I tried resetting the BIOS by long pressing the power button for 25 seconds.

Now there is no display, but keyboard is getting lit as soon as the AC adapter is plugged in, even without pressing power button. The error indication is gone, fan will spin for some time, ramp up and then switches off.
LCD self test works.

I'm assuming that the issue is with BIOS (no other obvious faults are detected such as components getting hot, liquid...
