Re: Samsung LE32M51B S black screen
Is it possible to be the cable connection the t-con and the main board. I will tell you why I think this should be the cause. This cable is connected with a screw on the middle of the TV for ground. After removing it the picture become really better than the first pictures but there is still some color problems. When i touch the cable on the side where it connects to the mainboard I think it is changing sometimes to better. The cable there is realy curved to connect to the board....

Re: Samsung LE32M51B S black screen
Tomorrow I will try this. But I think you ment I should see the Voltage at pins 7&8. If this this works should I connect the tcon to the mainboard and check is there any picture?...

Re: Samsung LE32M51B S black screen
Oh, and someting else I measured the voltage on pins 1 and 2 and it's around 6.35V if this matters. On pins 7 and 8 which are directly connected with the fuse on the t-con I have the same voltage 0.24VLast edited by intenzive; 02-06-2015, 10:24 AM.

Re: Samsung LE32M51B S black screen
I am stuck guys... obviously the mainboard is not sending 12V to the T-CON... I did some measurments from the mainboard to the T-CON and the voltage is 0.24V. Do you have any idea what can cause the problem?
I was hoping there is a loose connection on the T-CON. That is why ...Last edited by intenzive; 02-04-2015, 04:59 PM.

Re: Samsung LE32M51B S black screen
On the input side of the CP101 I have 0.24V WTF?!
Soldering a temporary bridge on the CP101 didn't do the work.
It looks melted because I reballed this part of the PCB....

I measured the resistance between the two pins of the CP101 and it is zero, so I think it's not open. This is the LCD panel number:...

Re: Samsung LE32M51B S black screen
You mean to check every pin one at a time with ground to see the voltage on the Voltage Regulators? "The white ribbon" you mean the 2 ribbons going to the LCD? And what about the other red circles you've put on the image. To check the voltage the same way?
And something else. My friend told me before stopping completely the TV was starting with maybe white horizontal lines on the screen but he is not sure about this because it was long ago....Last edited by intenzive; 02-02-2015, 12:27 PM.
