  • Sherwood Newcastle R-772 Receiver no Audio

I have a Sherwood Newcastle R-772 receiver that has no sound. The components were hooked up using Optical and Digital coax, and just stopped working one day. I double checked the inputs to make sure they were assigned properly and eveything checked out ok. If I use the analog audio jacks I get sound. I did a factory reset on the unit and still have the same issue. Checked the digital audio board for visible bad parts and couldn't see anything wrong. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Any ideas of what's...

I took the back off of the TV and found 2 bad capacitors on the Y - sustain board. I replaced the bad capacitors with new ones that were the same specs. I powered the set back up, green light stays solid green, and still have the same issue. I double checked all the boards just to make sure I didn't miss a bad capacitor and found nothing. All fuses were good too. I did notice that there is a little LED on the Y-sustain board glowing solid green, so...
