Re: PC7071 Lenovo PSU
I don't see anything burned. The caps looking good.
When i put the cord on, then remove it, and then short the pins, it powers on for a while and i have 3,3v 5v, and 12v.

HP 6910p (La-3262p) Ram Voltage 0.9 Laptop Running
Hi there,
I have a hp6910p with one ram socket (socket b) dead
With a ram at socket A the laptop works perfect
So i have at PU17 ( TPS 51116RGE) pin 5 ( vttref) 1.8 and at the pr127 0.9v
At slot A at and slot B
at c362 and c363 (slot A ) 0.9V
at c90 and c89 (slot B ) Again 0.9v
Both slots have +3vm
So how can the slot A work? ( With 0.9v?) and slot b not?
with 0.9v both slots have to be broken right?
Thnks in advance
P.S
If i short PR127 i still have 0.9v
Thnks

HP DV6 Quanta ut3/ut5
I have a dv6. it was working fine until today. It random freeze or shutdown and then it don't start up. It power up but no screen.
After some minutes it start again.
Cpu ram tested work fine.
3.3v 5v 12v fine on the RT8206
The only problem i found is that the bios battery +V is only 0,24
I reflow and reball the chipset still nothing
Any ideas?

Re: Dell Xps 1530
I have 5-6 Sony Vaio monitors i could try them. The problem is that the monitor go white and in little time darkens and some times shows blue and red lines. I cannot understand how it is possible to run the test perfect! i had the same problem with a mobo replenishment on a AR51 vaio, i replace it with a AR71 mobo and turn on the switch on the motherboard, if i remember well, panel switch no 3 pin and Boom. Work perfect.

Re: Dell Xps 1530
Yes i have the scematic of the mobo. I will check it and answer at monday.
gabik111 you are saying that the specific bios has a routine check , let say for a p/n or serial of the lcd so must be flashed for the specific lcd?
Booting with the dell's POST check , holding down D key the Display response perfect!!
