Electrical engineer by education but I've been working oilfield management most of my life. In my spare time I like to build things, mostly out of batteries and motors but that introduces many a dev board.
I'm joining this forum in a direct response to companies forcing planned obsolesce into every tech gadget imaginable. Hopefully I can rescue some worthy equipment and keep it out of the landfill....
