Re: Samsung PS58C7000YM Cycling menus and settings automatically (Video included)
Hi, I may have the same issue on a PS42C430. Did you solve the issue by replacing the IR board?...

Re: Samsung UE50H6400AK Panel or T-Con? Has Backlights And Audio
So you say it's a panel issue? But after you say it could come from a SMD cap on the buffer board? I'll try to use external PSU to see if it's getting hot, but i've measured every cap and there is not short with the continuity meter....

Re: Samsung UE50H6400AK Panel or T-Con? Has Backlights And Audio
Hi there, i got the exact same problem with my UE50EH6200AW. I replaced t-con board but no result. When disconnecting the righ side ribbon, i got half picture and other side blank and with both ribbon all is black. I guess it's a well known issue by Samsung because we all have the same issue. They should tell us what's the problem, it's a shame on those high end TV.

Re: Vestel 17IPS20P dead to repair
Ok some progress.
I got a short beween ground pin and gate pin on the PWM controller (with Q211 removed). And same with the mosfet connected to it. I added annote to my previous picture:
Now i'll remove this PWM controller and see if i still got a short.
Update:
i removed the PWM controller and i have no more short. During the remove i've seen the PCB doing a little "bump" around the IC, strange. I thought it would be because of the big chemical caps on the other side so i've removed...Last edited by int0x13; 11-15-2017, 12:29 PM.

Re: Vestel 17IPS20P dead to repair
I've removed the 3 mosfets with heatsink and tested them and they look ok with my tester and not shorted.
The mosfet Q100:
The mosfet Q301:
I got infinite resistance between +5V_STBY and GROUND, is this normal?
R299 resistor i get 7.9 Mohm...Last edited by int0x13; 11-15-2017, 05:36 AM.

Re: Vestel 17IPS20P dead to repair
Ok i've already tested Q301 (unsoldered) and it's good. I'm currently testing Q211 unsoldered (which is not easy to remove).
I got in diode mode 0.185 between drain and source (COM black probe on drain and red probe on source), not sure it's normal. If i charge the mosfet i have 1.48v between drain and source (drain red probe and source black probe). It should be 0 right?
I've tested with my component tester, it gives me this:

Vestel 17IPS20P dead to repair
Hi there,
I recently got a Philips TV model 40PFL3008h which was 100% dead, no standby led , nothing. I opened up the tv and found a Vestel PSU, model 17IPS20P, which had some problems on it.
First here's the picture of the board:
it's picture from google, and in my case, it's my picture:
So i annoted all the important things. I had the input fuse FS100 blown which i replaced and 2 diodes D112 and D115 shorted which i replaced. I tried to start the TV but still nothing, no voltage on the secondary side of the SMPS. I then discovered i...

Re: Vesel PSU on JVC TV PL807 connector?
I cannot send it back i think. The seller on ebay wont accept it. Hes from uk btw.
But i think ill try to sell this board because it will be useless because it doesnt have this PL807 connector. I think at 90% that the tv wont work without connector related wires plugged in. The seller or anybody cant confirm though. But it seems logical.
So i wont bother to unsolder resolder diodes and connector because im nor even sure it would work: ill just buy the correct board with that damn connector fitted.
But i still wonder why...Last edited by int0x13; 08-01-2017, 02:43 PM.

Re: ASUS X93S: specific keyboard keys are not working randomly
the "s" key doesnt work anymore for some hours now. I've measure the voltage on pin KSI4 (pin9), it's moving between 0.7v-1v. (not 0v now, dont know why).
I've measure the caps resistance and it's the same with JKB pin9 capacitor and pin10 capacitor. It's hard to work with such a small cap. It's really tiny. You can remove one without removing all the near one, with hot air? It's so tiny.

Re: ASUS X93S: specific keyboard keys are not working randomly
I forgot to mention the most important thing, i replaced the keyboard by a new one and that didnt solve the problem.
You are right, this is C342 that is connected to KSI4.
You suggest to try with C342 removed? or replaced by another similar cap? I'll try to do a bridge to bypass the C342 cap.
You said:
"In my experience all keyboard problems % 90 or 95 liquid or even a little drop damage the keyboards conductive layers , rest of the esd caps, KBC EC controller or bios problem."...Last edited by int0x13; 10-10-2016, 05:29 AM.

ASUS X93S: specific keyboard keys are not working randomly
Hello, i got an issue with my Asus X93S laptop. The integrated keyboard has keys that randomly not working. The important thing is this:
The keys that are not working, when they dont, are always the same keys. Which are:
"S", "3","7","=","0","-","c","²",F5,F10, Delete, Caps lock.
I found the schematics here:
http://www.s-manuals.com/notebook/asus_x93sv
I've measure the voltage on the JKB connector (the keyboard connector with 24 pins), page 44 in the schematics pdf....

Re: Hanns G HG281D 2 second black screen and parts help
Ok, after an hour of working the lines are gone. So i guess it is an electronic problem and not a problem with the bad connection of the LCD drivers PCB.
Do you think it's a capacitor issue on the logic board or maybe on the T-CON board? I've checked the T-CON and it seems clean and in good condition.

Re: Hanns G HG281D 2 second black screen and parts help
Hello, i've replaced the 2 faulty caps (100uF 16v) on the logic board (funny the third same cap on right side of the board seems in good condition). I've replaced with Panasonic 100uF 16v. There is still one issue on my monitor, i have some vertical lines on the right sides, see this picture:
Anyone has the same? Thank you....

Re: T370HW02 T-Con AS15F CHIP PROBLEM
on my T-CON there is no ground plane under the square of the AS15 IC, i wonder why yours has one.
