Hello everyone,
I was trying to unsolder the bios chip (windbond 25Q256JVEN) of my dell 5430 and I broke one of the connectors of the chip before being able to save the bios.
I know the service tag and have a similar dell 5430 for which I also need to unlock the bios.
If I succeed in saving the bios of the second computer and buy a new bios chip, would it work if I write the bios of the second computer in the new chip in order to install it on the first computer or is the computer for which I broke the chip is now completely useless?
