Yes I have a heat gun. I will try that when I get home. So, you dont believe it could be the same problem as hndrx1223 was facing, which was the Main Board?.Leave a comment:

Correct that was the pattern test.
At first when the yellow pattern started, it was sort of a "clean" pattern. After couple hours it started showing more red/purple/green pixels all over the screen (3rd picture). You can see on the 4th pic the Black and White pattern is quite colorful. The menus are affected as well.Leave a comment:

Hi,
Im having similar issue with my Samsung HP-5053 Im getting the same yellow pixels pattern as displayed on the first picture. But im getting this darker spots on the screen as well... could it be just the MAIN BOARD... please help. Here are few pictures. This is what im getting with different devices connected to the tv.
