HI, I have the exact same issue and the same power supply board as shown in the Pics on this thread. I have a couple of follow up questions on this issue; 1) Did replacing the 8 capacitors fix the problem? 2) Where did you buy the replacement capacitors, and exactly what were the specifications on the 8 cpacitors so I can order them? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Hi all, I am new to any forums. I have a hard time disposing of things that may still work. I currently have an Late 2006 Duo core iMac torn apart and noticed the partially blown capacitors on the power supply, which led me to this forum. I am hoping to repair it for a few bucks vs. buying a $100+ new/rebuilt power supply.Leave a comment:
