Hello, I'm jrb0952. I'm experienced former Tech on Networks, PC's, Laptops, Printer etc.... I'm older, started my career in 1979 retired in 2012. Still messing with equipment, more for fun or to keep busy. Recently upgraded a HP8470p to Windows 11 using one of the unsupported techniques. Seems to function fine however it created a password for the bios. Didn't have a password for the bios before, so I need a .bin file to reset based on what I'm reading. HP not giving it out anymore, not for a while, but my sister doesn't want to trash the laptop, not sure why, sot to keep her happy does anyone...
