Re: Display Turns Off-Dell Inspiron 9200
Thank you for the reply. I'll try it--I thought of that but I could not get to the internet. I'll just download it and let it load prior to boot. I also think it my be a thermal issue but the fans are working and there was not any obstruction.
Thank you...

Display Turns Off-Dell Inspiron 9200
What I have is a very nice Dell Inspiron 9200 17" Laptop-I turn it on and it boots through POST and into Windows-(XP)-It stays on for a few minutes then the Display just turns off. The computer keeps running as if it is still showing a display-but No Display.
Just wondering if anyone else has this issue and if there is a fix.

Re: Capacitor Identification
First--thank you for pointing that out-then--what is it. I see the crack--is that something that I can replace?? Thank you for your good eyes.

Re: Capacitor Identification
Thank you for the response. I am just beginning to work on this. Any help is appreciated. As I mentioned - the 14" screen on this is very hard to see. I can adjust the brightness with the Graphic Adapter but it still has a very low brightness level. Its just confusing. I hope to get it resolved--Thank you

Re: Capacitor Identification
Its from an HP Pavillion DV 1000-I'm losing screen brightness-very low light. I switched the inverter board and it made no difference. Hopefully these new caps will work out. Thank you

Capacitor Identification
Can someone please help me get the values of these capacitors I have posted. I believe one is 220uF at 25 volts. Please correct me or add your input. Thank you...
