Samsung LN52A- Vertical lines- Not T-Con
Sup fellas/ladies been a while.
I have a Samsung LN52A550p3f with vertical colored lines in one section. Replaced the T-Con board. No Dice. Re-seated and switched the flat cables to see if if was one of them, no dice. So its the panel right? Anything that can be done? I've read that one of the little caps or resistors integrated into the board that attached to the panel could be the problem and wiring around them could solve the issue.
So here are a few pics. I completely disassembled , have the panel out on chairs as you can see. I have a multimeter but im not...

Re: Samsung LN52B630 Eeprom???
nah gave it a try, no dice...I haven't replaced every single cap I could, and I just repaired a TV with one small shitty cap in the corner of the board that kept it from working...guess im gonna replace every cap I can get my hands on and go from there, unless you have another theory
Thanks again

Re: Samsung LN52B630 No picture
I turned the multimeter to 200 OHM, placed the leads on both sides and I get all sorts of readings , mostly staying from 1-10 but randomly jumps back and forth up to 180 ish and back down....doesnt stay consistent

Re: Samsung LN52B630 No picture
tested the DC filter caps....got 164VDC plugged in not on, and 389VDC plugged in and powered..not sure what you meant by "connectors" so here are a few more pictures of the power board...

Samsung LN52B630 No picture
Hello all,
I have the above mentioned 52 inch LCD TV. It powers on , the screen flashes, then no picture. Audio is fine. No obviously blown caps on power or main board. Any ideas?
Thank you

Re: LG 52LG50 will not turn off
well I reconnected that harness after the tv stayed off and now it is still staying off...previously I had removed the main board and scratched off some random dried board goo(technical term) so not sure what did it, but the TV stays off now.

LG 52LG50 will not turn off
Hey guys,
I have a 52 inch LG , model 52LG50 that does not want to stay off. As soon as I plug in AC it turns on. If I attempt to turn it off either by remote or by pressing the button on the TV, it turns off, then immediately back on. I have replaced the small black board seen in the photos that houses the power button. I do not see any blown caps. I've taken a look at the system board and can see no obvious problems.
Ideas?
Thanks a ton.
