• Re: Samsung Syncmaster 214T

Okay,
For those of You who have 330mf and 850mf. As long as voltage is same or at least slightly higher tolerance. It will work. I prefer sticking with SAME VOLTAGE, though. And for the capacitance, a slightly higher rating is aceptable. I have a inverter board 'NB-20 model= ip-58130a' with 2 each 330mf-25v and 3 each 1000mf-25v capacitors. from manufacturer. this circuit area is not too critical about same value Caps as some other boards or area circuits on this board in LCD screens.

As for actual physical sze of caps , be sure...

kind of background. no matter what input or function. comes through on front speakers 1 and 2. bad enough you can't hear regular audio. but you can tell audio is still there.

Check Your caps ,usually about 4 to 8 caps may need to be replace. cant give exact detail on your model but common issue with most LCD monitors. usually swollen and not.

Re: dukane optoma

well, with your model you would have to just modify circuit in area on board, with bridge rectifier. so scratch that idea....

Re: dukane optoma

okay,
I was thinking about your issue here.Dukane kinda went nuts with this model. The current you have going through a projector is enough that it is not necessary for a fuse;point in case is lamp would actually act as fuse. It would probably be easier to replace LAMP instead of dealing with fuse and and in your case,a circuit full of components.
If You check around or if you know about it enough you can use " independent rectifier" (one component) provided you have at least a 6amp manual on/off switch in circuit.eliminating circuit...

It is common to smoke or blacken when rectifier circuit goes. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR DIODES too!!! Black barrel looking with grey stripes, labeled on board starts with D###,I dont know how much you deal with circuits.
I'm used to dukanes with less than 5 component system. usually rectifier, diode and fuse. Hope You get it going.

• Pioneer speaker static problem

I have a pioneer VSX-453 a/v receiver with 5.1 prologic surround. plays fine on center, rear channels.but, have static on front speakers. It started in left front speaker channel. I opened up cover and started tracking connections and components,it stopped making noise.took to more experienced friend technician.would not act up and could not find faulty component.did good for several months. now its back and stronger than ever. didn't know if anybody had any IDEAS !?!?

Thanks, any help is appreciated!
