Ok sorry, I should have made myself clearer. I wanted to know if this is a clean BIOS in the sense that it doesn't contain any user data like passwords and the like. So basically as if I'd reset the BIOS data to factory defaults in the BIOS itself?
What I need is a BIOS that contains the default set of secure boot certificates so that it can load its option ROMs again. I also hope that there is no BIOS downgrade protection, because I was already on the latest BIOS released March 2025 when I accidently deleted the secure boot certificates today. Hello hoaca388, I got a question about your[URL="https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2110165"] THINKPAD_X280_Type 20KE.rar [/URL]file. Is it a clean BIOS, as if it was flashed by the factory? (Or did you patch the OPs BIOS?)
I think I need a factory BIOS for the following problem: I tried to enroll my own secure boot key and accidently removed all the other secure boot keys. Unfortunately, the X280 strictly requires some keys (apparently because of own option ROMs) and ends up in an endless tight boot loop. There is no chance to enter the BIOS, or boot from a drive....Last edited by heavenly; Today, 08:58 AM.
